Georgia and Bradley celebrate puppy love at Kings Park

Some folks will tell you “never work with children or animals”, but I’ve never been one to listen to that. Bring your kids! Bring your pets! Bring whoever and whatever makes you feel good on your wedding day!

For Brad and Georgia, that meant bringing along their beloved dogs Louis and Shy, who were so excited to be amongst the action on the big day, even if it meant their carefully planned little outfits didn’t always stay put.

Having the dogs at the wedding felt so right, given they were a big part of the proposal. Brad dressed Louis and Shy in special outfits for the occasion. Like the very good doggies they are, they sat nicely on a picnic rug as mum and dad approached, which allowed Georgia to read the writing on their little shirts. On Louis’ outfit was the big question – “mum, will you marry dad?”, while Shy wore a hopeful “please say yes!”.

As Georgia was realising the magnitude of what was happening, she turned to see Brad down on one knee, asking the question for himself – “will you marry me?” Of course, it was a resounding yes.

COVID-19 threw a spanner in the works, leading Brad and Georgia to reschedule their wedding… and it was worth the wait to see them finally tie the knot at the Marlee Pavilion in Kings Park.

A big thank you to Sapphire Film Productions for sharing the highlight video above!
